Class themes are changing for 2020!
As well as 6-week courses, workshops and private tuition, I run weekly classes.
Until now I've set a monthly theme for these, which has been working very well. It has challenged people and encouraged them to try subjects they would not normally attempt.
The result has been that people who have been attending regularly have got really good, and I mean REALLY GOOD!
So in 2020 I am planning a change. Instead of changing the subject matter each month people will be able to paint whatever they like - but, I am in the process of planning new, advanced challenges to encourage people to try different techniques and ideas, with the intention of taking them even further!

This new plan will work just as well for beginners, making it perfect to introduce to the variety of people I teach. No-one should feel out of their depth. Even though we will be looking at some advanced ways of thinking everyone can still work to their own style and level. That's the beauty of classes - we all learn from one another.
People can still join at any time of the year as all the different techniques will be covered over the course of a year.
I prefer to teach techniques (as oppose to everyone copying the same picture demonstrated by me) so people have the knowledge needed to interpret any picture they would like to paint. It is the way people interpret these techniques that makes everyone's paintings style unique. I am always happy to demonstrate where needed though.

A list of equipment can be forwarded, if needed, or equipment can be supplied (for an additional charge of £10 pw) but advance notice is needed.
