Current Exhibitions by Eleanor MannOriginal paintings (both framed and unframed), prints and greeting cards are currently on display at The Art & Framing Centre in Friars Street, Sudbury until the end of June. If you would like to choose a frame Graham or Emily will be able to advise you.
Framed paintings and prints are also on display at The Pheasant in Gestingthorpe until the end of July. Finally I have been invited to exhibit at The Sudbury Summer Art Fair which takes place in Saint Peter's Church on Market Hill, Sudbury from the 19th July until the 24th July. Opening times are: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. As well as original artwork for sale there will be a café and evening entertainment. More details can be found on their website. In the past couple of weeks I’ve exhibited at Clare Town Hall as part of the Clare Art Club and the Village Fete at Belchamp St Paul. In other (non watercolour related) news I was honoured to have been asked by the Colne Engaine War Memorial Project to amalgamate two winning designs by children at Colne Engaine Primary School and paint this on to a glass skylight which has been incorporated into the new war memorial. I was invited by Field Marshall the Lord Walker to attend the officially public unveiling. The band of the Parachute Regiment played at the ceremony which was led by the Bishop of Colchester, The Right Reverend Roger Morris and Reverend Peter Allen. The ladies of the CEWM Committee read the names of the war dead and the children from the primary school sang in what was a very moving and poignant ceremony. The new war memorial has been built on public ground between St Andrew’s churchyard and the village hall and is open to anyone to visit. |
