My Latest Watercolour Painting(s)
I thought I'd reached the end of my recent bird series/obsession until I remembered my desire to paint another robin. This will not be the last of them, I have in mind to paint a robin pulling a worm from the ground.

Robins have just been voted "Britain's National Bird" and yet people seem only to associate them with Christmas cards! Robins are not just for Christmas, they're seen all year round so I wanted to paint one with attitude and that not prettily sitting on a garden fork handle or in snow, although I have done so in the past and will probably do so again!
I have already painted another picture of this exact scene, primarily to test a set of MaimeriBlu watercolour paints that the SAA have sent to me but also to experiment with the background.
