My Latest Watercolour Painting

I started this series of "splashy" paintings at the beginning of August but got sidetracked by other commitments.

These paintings are not in my usual style, nor are they my usual subject matter, but I enjoy the challenge of trying new ways of working.  

I found both paintings challenging but particularly the one above as the human face is so difficult to paint...and so are hands and feet...and joints and muscles!
