“I love to paint light and atmosphere the actual subject matter is therefore unlimited.”

Working from her studio in Belchamp St Paul Eleanor paints a range of subjects in watercolour and pastel reflecting her love of architecture, the local countryside and wildlife.

Eleanor believes that painting is not an inborn talent or desire but requires diligence and hard work.  She has had no formal training but has sought guidance from other artists whose work she admires.  Trying different mediums and styles has enriched her technical knowledge and inspired her to develop her own style.

As well as selling original works she sells prints and cards of her watercolours and pastels.  Some commission work is accepted.
